| 설명 | 과학적 원리를 응용하여 제품품질의 유지-향상을 기하기 위한 관리. 넓은 뜻으로는 가장 시장성이 높은 제품을 가장 경제적으로 생산하기 위한 일련의 체게적 조치를 가리키나, 일반적으로는 앞의 좁은 뜻의 해석이 통용된다. 초기의 QC는 전제품에 대해 치수-중량-체적이나 재료의 화학적 성분 등을 측정하고, 그것을 미리 정해 놓은 품질표준과 비교하여 적부를 판정하는 방법이 취해졌다. |

| tearing mode | <radiobiology> A resistive magnetohydrodynamic instability which is spatially localised near a rational surface and which grows at a rate slower than the magnetohydrodynamic Alfven rate, but faster than the resistive skin diffusion rate.
