| conduit |
Relatively large dissolutional voids, including enlarged fissures and tubular tunnels; in some usage the term is restricted to voids that are water-filled. Conduits may include all voids greater than 10mm in diameter, but another classification scheme places them between arbitrary limits of 100mm to 10m. Whichever value is accepted in a particular context, smaller voids are commonly terined sub-conduits.
