| 설명 | 조직이나 기관에 공기가 병적으로 축적하는 것. 허파꽈리벽이 파괴됨으로써 종말세기관지 먼쪽의 숨길이 비정상으로 확장되는 병이다. 그 변화는 그 영구적이다. 폐기종은 병터의 병리학적 특성뿐만 아니라 한 폐소엽내의 해부학적 분포에 따라 세분되며, 크게 ① 중심꽈리형(centriacinar), ② 범꽈리형(panacinar), ③ 원위꽈리형(distal acinal), ④ 불규칙형(irregular)의 네 가지로 부류한다. 폐렴 중에서 폐 전체에 염증의 파급이 없고 대신에 산발적으로 세기관지 주위에 염증이 생긴 경우를 기관지폐렴이라고 한다. 이와는 대조적으로 폐의 중요 해부학적 분할 단위인 엽(해부학적으로 나누는 폐의 부분, 좌측 폐는 2개의 엽으로, 우측 폐는 3개의 엽으로 나뉜다)에 전체적으로 염증이 파급되어 만연할 경우를 대엽성폐렴이라고 한다. |
