| 설명 | 흥분제로 작용하여 환각이나 기분이 고조되는 등의 현상을 일으키느 약제. 남아메리카에서 생산되는 코카라는 식물의 잎에서 추출된다. 남 아메리카 원주민들이 피로를 잊는 약으로 사용을 했었다. 이 약은 정맥주사로 이용되거나 또는 코로 조금씩 흡입하는 형태로 사용되며, 중독성이 아주 강하다. 장기복용으로 중독이 된 경우에는 환각, 불안, 구토, 설사, 식욕부진 등의 증상을 나타낸다. |
