an eroded, ulcerated, nodular, solitary lesion with a rolled edge, closely resembling a syphilitic chancre, and generally occurring in association with regional lymphadenopathy. The lesion, which usually involutes and heals with scarring, is most often located on the face, especially near the eyes, although some genital lesions have been reported.
