| 설명 | 혈액 중에 빌리루빈 양이 증가하여 피부 및 점막내 담즙의 축적으로 황색을 나타내는 병적상태. 빌리루빈은 적혈구에 함유되는 혈색소의 체내에서의 대사산물이며, 간 또는 그 밖의 특수한 세포 속에서 만들어지고 쓸개즙 속에 함유되어 배설되는 적황색 색소이다. 원인은 다음과 같이 셋으로 크게 나눈다. ① 폐색성 황달: 쓸개돌이나 종양 등에 의하여 담관에서 장관으로 유출되어야 할 담즙이 쓸개관의 폐색에 의하여 유출장애를 일으킨 경우. ② 간세포성 황달 및 간세쓸개관성 황달: 간세포의 기능장애에 의한 담즙분비장애를 일으키는 경우로 급성간염에 의하여 대표되는 것. ③ 용혈황달: 과잉의 혈구 파괴로 인하여 일어나는 것으로 주로 용혈성 빈혈인 경우에 일어나는 것이 있다. 또 증세를 경중에 따라 구별하면, 카타르성 황달은 경도의 증세인 경우이며, 두통-권태감 외에 맥박이 느려지고, 때로는 피부가 가려워진다. 중증 황달은 위독한 증세이며, 발열-간부분의 통증, 혼수 등을 볼 수 있고, 급성 간위축증-간경화증-간암 등의 경우에 볼 수 있다. |

This occurs secondary to an abnormality in the transport of bilirubin from the liver to the biliary system. This leads to an accumulation of bilirubin in the liver.
