| 설명 | 대개 배변의 정상적인 횟수는 1일에 3번에서 3일에 1번 사이이다. 변비란 3일에 1번 이하의 빈도로 대변을 보는 것을 말한다. 정상적으로 배변이 이루어지지 않는 증상. 변비는 건강할 때에 비하여 변이 굳고 건조하며, 배변의 횟수와 양이 감소되어 불쾌감이나 생리적 장애를 수반하는 증상이 있는 경우를 말한다. 2, 3일 또는 1주일 동안 한 번밖에 통변이 없어도 본인이 고통을 느끼지 않을 때는 변비라고 할 수 없다. 원인으로서 가장 많은 것은 습관성 변비로 이것에는 긴장감퇴성 변비와 긴장항진성 변비가 있다. 또, 여행 등에 의한 환경의 변화, 식사의 변화 등에 의한 일시적인 변비도 있다. |
