| 설명 | 배속의 공간복강에 액체가 차는 것을 말한다. 복수의 원인은 대개 간경화증이다. 간경화증의 경우에는 섬유조직이 간조직을 대치하므로 정상 간세포내에서 넓은 공간을 차지하던 간내의 혈관들이 섬유조직에 눌리게 된다. 그러면 이것과 연결된 문맥계의 압력도 높아지게 된다. 이렇게 되면 소화기의 모세혈관내에서의 압력도 높아지게 되고 그 압력에 의해서 많은 양의 수분이 모세혈관 밖으로 빠져나오게 된다. 이 수분이 모여 복수가 된다. 복수의 원인 중 간경화증 다음으로 많은 것은 울혈심장기능상실이다. 심장기능상실이란 심장의 원래 기능, 즉 혈액을 말초로 보내는 펌프와 같은 기능이 거의 없어진 상태를 말한다. 피를 보내는 펌프의 역할이 멈추었으므로 심장으로 들어오는 피는 심장으로 들어오지 못하고 정맥 속에서 정체된다. 그러면 정맥의 압력이 높아지게 되고 문맥계의 압력도 높아지게 되어 복수가 생긴다(문맥계도 역시 간을 거쳐서 심장으로 들어오게 되어 있다). |
