| 설명 | 혈관내를 흐르고 있는 혈액이 혈관밖으로 유출되는 것을 저지하거나 혈과벽의 손상으로 유출되었던 혈액이라도 바로 굳어서 더 이상의 출혈을 방지하는 과정을 지혈이라고 하는데, 여기에는 혈소판, 응고계, 혈관계가 종합적으로 작용한다. 이러한 지혈 메커니즘에 장애가 오면 전신적으로 출혈하기 쉬운 상태가 되는데 사소한 손상에도 출혈이 되는 것이 그 현상이다. |

| 설명 | 몸에 상처가 나서 출혈이 있었을 경우에 피가 멎는데 까지 걸리는 시간을 출혈시간이라고 한다. 사람의 몸에 상처가 나서 출혈이 있을 경우에 이것을 막고 피를 더이상 나지 않게 하는 것을 지혈이라고 한다. 지혈의 과정에는 크게 두 가지 단계가 있다. 첫번째 단계는 혈소판들이 상처가 나서 손상된 혈관의 부위를 막는 것이다. 이렇게 하면 우선 혈관의 손상부위로부터 피가 나오는 것을 막을 수가 있다. 다음의 단계는 상처를 막고 있는 혈소판위에 여러 가지 물질들이 작용해서 더욱 단단하게 하여 상처가 난 혈관에서 피가 새는 것을 영구히 막는 것이다. 쉽게 말하면 혈소판은 벽돌에 해당하는 것이고 두번째 과정에 참여하는 물질들은 시멘트에 해당하는 것이다. 이 두 과정이 완전할 경우에 지혈이 순조롭게 일어난다. 출혈시간은 위에서 설명한 지혈의 두가지 과정 중에서 첫번째 과정에 의해서만 영향을 받는다. 즉 손상된 혈관을 막아주는 벽돌에 해당하는 혈소판의 기능만 정상일 경우에 출혈시간은 정상으로 나온다. 만약 혈소판의 기능에 이상이 있는 경우에는 자연히 출혈시간이 길어진다. |

| 설명 | 비출혈이란 말그대로 코에서 피가 나는 것이다. 이 코피에는 여러 가지 원인이 있다. 일반적 원인으로는 혈액병, 순환기병, 고열, 기압의 변화 등을 들 수 있고 월경이나 뇌출혈의 대상으로 나오는 일도 있으나, 실제로는 국소적 원인이 훨씬 많은 것으로 알려져 있다. 국소적 원인으로는 원인을 알 수 없는 특발성 비출혈이 가장 많고, 외상, 염증, 암등이 원인일수 있다. 출혈은 약 90%가 비중격의 전단에 있는 키셀바흐얼기(Kiesselbach's plexus)에서 나온다. 이곳은 여러 가지 동맥이 모여 있는 곳으로 원래 혈류가 많아 출혈의 소지가 많은 곳이다. 나머지 10%는 코안의 다른 부위에서 나올 수 있고, 특히 뒷부분에서 나오는 경우는 입으로 피가 흘러내리고, 확실한 출혈 부위를 정확히 관찰할 수 없는 경우가 많기 때문에 간단한 치료로는 해결되지 않는 때가 많다. |

| 설명 | 바이러스에 의해 간에 생기는 급성염증. 급성간염이란 간염바이러스(A형-B형-비A비B형)에 의해서 간에 생기는 급성염증을 병명으로 이르는 말로, 이는 그 감염양식에 수혈 후에 발생하는 수혈후 간염과, 감염경로를 알 수 없는 산발성간염 및 집단으로 발생하는 유행선간염의 세가지 유형으로 나눌 수 있다. 수혈후 간염은 그 95%가 비A비B형간염이며 나머지가 B형 간염이다. 산발성 간염은 A형 간염과 B형 간염이 각각 30%를 이루고 나머지 40%는 비A비B간염이다. 집단으로 발생하는 유행성간염은 거의가 A형간염이지만 때로는 여기에 포함되지 않은 형의 간염일 경우도 있다. 급성간염의 증세는 먼저 몸이 나른해지고 온몸에 권태감이 찾아오며 조그마한 일에도 곧 피로를 느끼게 된다. 그리고 식욕부진-발열-구토증-복통-설사 등, 감기나 급성위장염에 걸렸을 때와 같은 증세 등이 나타난다. 뒤이어 황달증세를 보이는데, 이때는 초기의 증세가 약간 가벼워진 것처럼 느껴지는 것이 보통이다. 그러나 황달증세가 심해지고 초기의 증세들이 다시 진행되면 이때는 전격성간염이 될 위험이 있다. 간염 증세가 심하지 않았을 경우는 황달이 눈에 띄지 않은 경우도 있는데 이때는 진찰을 해도 감기나 급성위창자염으로 자칫 오진되기 쉽다. 또 A형간염은 열이 38~39℃까지 오르고 증세가 갑자기 나타나는 것이 특징이며 급성비A비B형간염은 증세가 비교적 가벼운 것이 특징이다. 급성B형간염의 증세는 A형간염과 급성비A비B형간염의 중간 정도인 것이 보통이다. |
