| acetylglucosaminidase | <enzyme> 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-beta-d-glucoside acetamidodeoxygluco-hydrolase. Catalyses the hydrolysis of terminal, non-reducing 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-beta-glucose residues in chitobiose and higher analogs as well as in glycoproteins. Has been used widely in structural studies on bacterial cell walls and in the study of diseases such as mucolipidosis and various inflammatory disorders of muscle and connective tissue. Registry number: EC 3.2.1.30 (12 Dec 1998) |

| alpha-N-acetylglucosaminidase | <enzyme> An enzyme that hydrolyzes glycosides of N-acetylglucosamine producing the alcohol and N-acetylglucosamine. A deficiency of this enzyme results in mucopolysaccharidosis III B. (05 Mar 2000) |

| mannosyl-glycoprotein endo-beta-n-acetylglucosaminidase | <enzyme> A group of related enzymes responsible for the endohydrolysis of the di-n-acetylchitobiosyl unit in high-mannose-content glycopeptides and glycoproteins. Chemical name: Glycopeptide-D-mannosyl-N(4)-(N-acetyl-D-glucosaminyl)2-asparagine 1,4-N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminohydrolase Registry number: EC 3.2.1.96 (12 Dec 1998) |
| 4-nitrophenyl-alpha-N-acetylglucosaminidase | <enzyme> Aspect of EC 3.2.1.50 Registry number: EC 3.2.1.- Synonym: pnpanacglase, para-nitrophenyl-alpha-n-acetylglucosaminidase, 4-nitrophenyl-n-acetyl-beta-d-glucosaminidase (26 Jun 1999) |
