| 설명 | 미립자를 관찰할 수 있는 특수 현미경. 특수 조명법에 의해서 보통현미경으로는 볼 수 없는 미립자를 분별할 수 있는 현미경이다. 암시야현미경이라고도 한다. 1903년 독일의 R.지그몬디에 의해 만들어졌으며, 그는 이것을 사용하여 콜로이드의 연구에 공적을 남겼다. 어두운 방에 빛이 들면 먼지가 빛나 보이는 틴들현상을 이용한 것으로서 카르디오이드 집광기나 파라볼로이드 집광기라고 하는 특수한 모양의 집광기를 사용해서 시료를 옆에서 비추어 그것에 의한 산란광을 관측한다. 접안경을 들여다보면 암측의 배경 속에 미립자가 별과 같이 빛나 보인다. 현재 사용되는 것은 0.25~0.04μm의 미립자까지 확인할 수 있다. |
