| 설명 | 출산 때에 태아가 사망해 있는 경우의 분만. 보통 임신 4개월 이후의 사산을 말한다. 사산에는 자연분만에서 태아가 사망해 있는 자연사산과, 인공적으로 분만시켰을 때에 태아가 사망해 있는 인공사산이 있으며, 주요 원인은 태아의 질병이상, 태반이나 탯줄의 이상, 난산, 임신중독 등을 들 수 있다. 또한 사산을, 산부의 사망 후 수 시간 또는 수일 후에 사태가 만출되는 시체분만의 뜻으로 쓰이는 경우도 있다. |
