| 설명 | 가볍고 부드러운 무명베. 섬유로 짠 많은 구멍을 가진 흡수를 위한 직물로 외과수술에 쓰기 전에 보통 멸균시키고, 여러 소독제를 침투시킨다. 거즈라는 이름은 팔레스타인(이스라엘)의 가자(Gaza) 지방에서 생산되었기 때문이라는 설과, 아랍어의 gazz(생사)에서 유래한다는 설이 있다. 무르게 꼰 무명실로 성기게 짜서 표백한 뒤에 풀을 먹이지 않고 제품을 내놓기 때문에, 부드럽고 수분을 잘 흡수한다. |

| acute tubular necrosis | <nephrology> A kidney disorder that results in damage to the renal tubule cells leading to acute renal failure. Acute tubular necrosis can result from any condition which deprives the kidney of oxygen (ischaemia). Acute tubular necrosis may occur as a complication of shock, trauma or sepsis. Conditions such as diabetes or liver disease can predispose people to the development of acute tubular necrosis. Certain medications (for example aminoglycosides, amphotericin B, cyclosporine) are known to cause acute tubular necrosis as a toxic side effect.
