| 설명 | 피부의 만성염증으로 머리덮개, 얼굴(눈썹, 입술, 눈꺼품, 귀 등), 복장뼈부위, 겨드랑이 등에 호발하는 피부병이다. 이 병은 마르거나 습기가 있거나, 기름기가 있는 비늘이 특징이고, 다양한 모양과 크기의 황색반을 형성하며 호전과 악화를 되풀이 하고, 다소 가려운 감각을 동반한다. |

| 설명 | 피부염이라고 하면 이것은 습진피부병(eczematous dermatoses)을 이르는 말이다. 습진이란 급성기에는 가려움증을 동반하는 수포나, 홍반, 부종 등이 나타나고 만성기에는 부종, 수포는 감소되는 반면에 태선화, 비늘, 피부색의 변화 등이 형성되는 모든 피부병들을 이르는 말이다. 그 발생빈도는 지역에 따라 다소 차이가 있으나 전체 피부질환의 약 1/3~1/4을 차지하고 있다. 1.접촉피부염(contact dermatitis)-외부물질의 접촉에 의해서 발생하는 피부염을 말한다. 물이나 세제에 장기적 접촉에 의해서 손끝부위에 생기는 주부습진(housewife's eczema)이나 공장에서 유독한 물질의 접촉에 의해서 생기는 피부염 등이 이것의 예이다. 2.아토피피부염(atopic dermatitis)-피부가 가려움에 대한 역치가 낮아서 아주 심한 가려움을 느끼고 이로 인해서 2차적으로 생기는 습진으로 유전적인 경향이 아주 강하다. 아주 심한 가려움증과 특정한 발병부위로 대개 진단이 되는데 2세이하의 유아에게 생겼을 경우에는 주로 뺨, 이마, 두피 등의 얼굴에 많이 생기고, 소아기의 경우에는 주로 무릎이나 팔꿈치의 살이 접히는 부위에 많이 생긴다. 1세 미만의 유아에서 많이 발생하며, 나이가 들수록 호전되는 경과를 보인다. 3.지루 피부염(seborrheic dermatitis)-만성의 경과를 취하는 습진의 일종으로 주로 피지의 분비가 왕성한 부위(머리덮개, 얼굴, 가슴 등의 중간 부위)에 노란색 내지 붉은색의 만성 습진의 양상을 나타내는 병변, 특히 번들번들한 비늘이 특징적으로 하는 병변을 주 특징으로 하는 질환이다. 원인은 확실하지 않으나 Pityrosporum ovale이라는 균과 가족력, 신경병과 연관이 있다고 한다. |

| spasms, infantile | Primary generalised epileptic seizures occurring in infants between birth and twelve months of age consisting of brief synchronous contractions of the neck, torso, and both arms. These seizures often occur in infants with underlying neurologic diseases. The prognosis for these infants is grave, with approximately ninety percent developing mental retardation in addition to their seizures. The eeg has a typical hypsarrhythmia pattern. The spasms and hypsarrhythmia have a tendency to disappear over the first three to five years of life, only to be replaced by other forms of generalised seizures.
