| 설명 | 피부에 생기는 모든 병의 총칭. 피부는 신체의 표면을 덮고 있으므로 외계로부터 자극이나 여러 병원체에 직접 접촉될 기회가 많고, 체내로부터 영향을 강하게 받는다. 더욱이 피부의 근소한 변화도 눈으로 보고 손으로 만질 수 있으며, 병변부의 일부를 채취하여 병리조직학적으로 검사하거나, 미생물의 검색 등의 검사를 하기 쉽고, 개개의 질병의 진단을 명확하게 하는 것이 용이하므로, 그 종류는 다른 장기의 그것에 비하여 상당한 수에 이르며, 병명도 복잡 다양하다. 크게 나누면 다음과 같다. 변화가 피부에 한정된 것에는 반점-점 등이 있고, 전신에 미치는 것에는 아교질병, 비타민결핍성 피부병, 내분비장애성 피부병 등이 포함된다. 다만 피부를 제외한 부분을 피부에 대하여 전신으로 간주하는 경우, 변화가 피부에만 한정되는 것은 적고, 대부부분의 피부병은 혈액의 변화나 간기능장애 등의 전신현상을 수반한다. 세균-바이러스 등의 병원체가 원인인 질병에는 수두-농가진-매독 등이 있고, 각각 전염하지만, 습진-반점-종양 또는 아교질병 등은 전염하지 않는다. 피부병의 내인으로는 위장장애-간병-콩팥병-물질대사장애-혈액질환-내장종양-내분비장애 등을 들 수 있다. |

| acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis | A rare dermatosis, predominant in women, of rapid onset and characterised by plaque-like lesions, usually multiple, on the face, neck, and upper extremities, accompanied by conjunctivitis, mucosal lesions, fever, malaise, arthralgia, and peripheral blood neutrophilia in many cases; biopsy reveals polymorphonuclear infiltrate of the dermis; rapid remission occurs with systemic steroid therapy. | Bowen's precancerous dermatosis | A persistent progressive non-elevated red scaly or crusted plaque which is due to an intradermal carcinoma and is potentially malignant. Atypical squamous cells proliferate through the whole thickness of the epidermis. The lesions may occur anywhere on the skin surface or on mucosal surfaces. | giant pigmented nevus | These large pigmented (often hairy) congenital nevi are important because of their increased risk (10 to 15%) of conversion into malignant melanoma. | pigmented ameloblastoma | A benign neoplasm of neuroectodermal origin that most often involves the anterior maxilla of infants in the first year of life. It presents clinically as a rapidly growing blue-black lesion producing a destructive radiolucency; histologically, it is characterised by small round undifferentiated tumour cells interspersed with larger polyhedral melanin-producing cells arranged in an alveolar configuration.
