| 설명 | 심신의 활동이 최고로 발휘되는 성인기 이후에 쇠퇴하기 시작한 때부터 죽음에 이르기까지의 시기. 노년기에 이르면 신체 각 기관의 기능이 저하되며, 정신적 제반 능력도 점차 감퇴한다. 노년기는 초로기-노화기-노쇠기로 나눌 수 있으나 개인차가 크고, 기능이나 기관의 감퇴는 반드시 일정하지 않으므로 분명하게 연령적으로 구분하기는 곤란하다. 그러나 대체로 45~50세부터 노화로 향하는 과정이 시작되므로 45~55세를 초로기라 하고, 65~75세를 노쇠기의 문턱으로 보며, 그 사이를 노화기라고 한다. |

| Old World leishmaniasis | Infection with promastigotes (leptomonads) of Leishmania tropica and of leishmaniasis major inoculated into the skin by the bite of an infected sandfly, Phlebotomus (commonly P.
