| 설명 | 니코틴 산을 말함. 비타민의 일종으로 인체내 소량 존재하지만, 생명유지에 필수적인 요소이다. 주로 효소, 간, 땅콩 등에 존재하며, 부족시 펠라그라(pellagra)라는 질병을 일으킨다. 펠라그라에서는 이른바, 3D라고 하여 dementia(치매: 뇌의 이상병변), dermatitis(피부병), diarrhea(설사: 소화흡수의 장애) 등의 특징적인 증상이 나타난다. 치료는 니아신(니코틴산)의 주입으로 가능하며, 대개 후유증은 남지 않는다. |
