| 설명 | 나이세리아과, 나이세리아속의 세균으로 임질을 일으키는 병원균. 1879년 독일의 A. 나이서에 의해서 발견되었다. 그람음성 알균. 직경 0.6~10μm, 콩팥형의 쌍알균으로 산소성이다. 요도, 자궁, 눈의 점막 따위를 통하여 감염되며, 사람에게만 감염된다. 남성에게서는 요도염, 부고환염, 여성에게서는 질염, 자궁목염, 자궁내막염 등의 성기 부속기관의 염증을 일으킨다. 방치하면 패혈증을 일으키며, 관절염을 발병하는 경우도 있다. 신생아가 무증상의 어머니로부터 산도를 통해 감염이 되어 임균성 안결막염을 일으키거나 실명하는 수도 있다. 1879년에 독일의 나이서가 발견하였다. 임상적인 방법과 방사선학적 검사법으로 골반을 계측하는 방법. 이 검사를 시행하는 이유는 태아가 산모에게서 정상적인 질식분만(vaginal delivery: 질을 통해서 아이를 낳는 분만법)이 가능한가를 알아보기 위함이다. 정상적인 질식분만이 가능하기 위해서는 산모의 골반모양이 기형이 아니어야 하며, 골반의 반경이 태아의 가장 큰 머리반경보다 커야 한다. |
