| 설명 | 선미선충목 사상충과에 속하는 선형동물의 유충. 성충은 사람이나 척추동물의 림프절-림프관-심장-혈관-체강-근육-피하조족 등이 기생하는데, 암컷은 난태생에 의하여 많은 유충을 낳는다. 그 유충은 길이 200~300μm, 너비 6~10μm의 가는 실 모양이다. 림프류-혈류에 의하여 숙주의 전신을 순환하는데, 말초혈관 속에 나타나는 미세사상충은 낮과 밤에 따라 그 수에 뚜렷한 차이가 있다. 그것을 미세사상충의 정기출현성이라 하며, 종류에 따라 그 출현주기가 다르다. 사상충증의 진단에는 말초혈관 중에서 미세사상충의 발견이 가장 확실한 방법이다. |
