| 설명 | 가수분해에 의하여 한 분자에서 두 개 이상의 단당류를 생성하는 탄수화물을 통틀어 이르는 말. 즉, 여러 개의 단당이 탈수 축합한 고분자량 당질이다. 동일 종류의 단당으로 이루어진 것을 단순다당(호모다당)이라고 하며, 복수종의 단당으로 구성된 것을 복합다당(헤테로다당)이라고 한다. 분자 속에 우론산이나 황산기를 많이 함유하고 강한 음전하를 갖는 복합다당은 산성 다당 혹은 뮤코다당이라고도 하며, 보통 단백질에 통합하여 존재하는 점에서 프로테오글리칸으로서 분류된다. 지질과 결합하고 있는 것은 당지질로 총징된다. 단순다당은 구성단당 또는 기원 당의 어미에 ‘-an'을 붙여 명명한다. 예를 들어 글루칸, 푸룩탄, 만난 등. 복합다당에서는 어미에 ’글리칸, -glycan'을 붙인다. 2. 덱스트란과 같이 큰 분자량을 가지며, 물에 녹지 아니하거나 교상액膠狀液을 이루는 당류. 단일 다당류와 복합 다당류로 나눈다. 녹말, 글리코겐, 셀룰로오스 따위가 있다. |
