| 설명 | 육아조직으로 이루어진 염증성 결절. 눈으로 보았을 때 크고 작은 결절이나 침윤이 전신에 퍼진 결절모양인 염증성 병터를 말한다. 병리학적으로 염증은 순환장애, 특히 염증이 있을 때 혈관 밖으로 액체가 나와 병터에 모인 삼출성 염증과 국소의 세포 중 그물내피계 세포의 증식을 특징으로 하는 육아종성 염증을 분류된다. 구조는 섬유모세포, 왕성한 포식작용을 하는 상피모양세포 그리고 혈관내피세포로 이루어져 있다. 일반적으로 세포는 결핵의 육아종에서 특징적으로 볼 수 있는 랑게르한스형 거대세포와 같이 큰 세포질과 많은 핵을 가진 거대세포로 번형된 것으로 알려져 있다. 육아종성 염증은 각각 특별한 병의 원인에 따라 특수한 형태를 나타내어 육아종을 형성하는 특수성 염증의 한 형태이기도 하다. 주로 결핵-나병-매독 등이 육아종을 형성하는 염증의 대표적인 것이다. 그 밖에 여러 가지 이물질에 대한 처리과정으로 생기는 육아조직이 하나의 거대세포를 함유한 결절성 병터로서 인정되는 수가 있다. |

Microscopically similar lesions occur in the tubular bones of the hands and feet, are considered neoplastic, and may have a malignant course.
