| 설명 | 몸의 중심(대개 몸통, body를 말한다)에서 가까운 쪽으로 움직이는 경우를 말한다. 반대말로 가쪽(lateral)을 쓴다. 여기서 내, 외측의 기준은 사람의 몸을 기준으로 삼는다. 즉, 만약 팔이 몸에서 멀어지는 쪽으로 이동하면 가쪽으로 움직였다라고 하고, 팔이 몸에 가까워지는 쪽으로 움직이면 안쪽으로 움직였다고 말한다. 이 말은 아주 자주 쓰이는 말로써, 거의 모든 의학부분에서 접할 수 있는 말이다. |

It is attached superiorly to the medial epicondyle of the femur, inferiorly to the medial surface of the body of the tibia, and in between to the medial meniscus.
