a rhomboid space found in some persons between the external oblique muscle in front, the latissimus dorsi behind, the serratus posticus above, and the internal oblique below; frequently the site of pointing of an abscess, or occurrence of a hernia. Called also Lesshaft's or Grynfeltt's triangle.
