| 설명 | 혈액응고계를 촉진하거나 섬유소용해계를 억제해서 출혈을 저지하는 약물. 생체에 출혈성소인이 없는 경우에는 큰 상처가 아니면 자연히 출혈은 멎는다. 그러나 혈관벽의 이상, 혈소판의 이상, 응고계의 장애 등이 있는 경우에는 그것에 대응하는 약물의 투여가 필요하다. 지혈약에는 전신적으로 투여되는 것과 국소적으로 적용되는 것이 있다. 전신적으로 투여되는 것에는 혈액응고인자제제(트롬보플라스틴제제, 섬유소원제제, 칼슘제제), 혈관강화약(비타민 C), 저프로트롬빈혈증에 비타민 K 등이 있다. 국소적으로 적용되는 것에는 혈관수축제(에피네프린), 물리적응고촉진약(젤라틴스폰지, 산화셀룰로스), 혈액응고인자제제가운데 트롬빈, 섬유소 등이 있다. |

| 설명 | 액체의 자유표면에서 표면을 작게하려고 작용하는 장력. 비누방울이나 액체 속의 기포-물방울 등이 구상이 되는 것은 이 힘이 액면에 작용하기 때문이며, 용기의 가장자리에 액체가 넘쳐 올라간 모양이 되어 쏟아지지 않는 것도 액체 표면에 장력이 작용하기 때문이다. 수면에 떨어뜨린 기름방울이 금방 퍼지는 것은 물의 표면장력이 기름의 표면장력보다 크고, 기름층이 물의 표면장력에 의해 잡아 늘여지기 때문이다. |

| latex agglutination | Also known as latex particle agglutination, for detection of antibodies is identical to haemagglutination in principle, but the substitution of smaller, antigen-coated latex particles for erythrocytes results in improved sensitivity and reagent longevity. Alternatively, antibodies can be absorbed to the latex particles (under appropriate ionic and pH conditions) by binding to the Fc region of antibodies, leaving the Fab region free to interact with antigens present in the applied specimens.
