| 설명 | 간에서 분비되는 쓸개즙을 일시적으로 저장-농축하는 주머니. 샘창자 안에 음식물이 들어오면 쓸개즙을 내어 소화를 돕는다. 발생적으로 쓸개관의 벽이 부풀어 형성된 것이며 온쓸개관에 열려있다. 대부분의 척추동물이 가지고 있으나 칠성장어나 조류-포유류 중에는 담낭이 없는 종류가 있다. 사람에게는 간의 밑부분에 붙어 있으며, 길쭉한 가지같이 생겼다. 길이 7~9cm, 너비 2~3cm, 부피 30~50mL 정도이다. 쓸개는 쓸개관에 이어져 있고, 쓸개벽은 점막-평활근층-장막으로 되어 있으며, 탄력성이 풍부하다. 안쪽 면에는 많은 점막추벽이 있고, 쓸개길의 내부압력에 의해 확장되어 있다. 기능적으로는 매일 간에서 만들어지는 쓸개즙의 약 1/2을 저장-배출하는 것을 조절한다. 쓸개에 생기는 병으로 가장 많은 것은 쓸개돌이며, 그 밖에 쓸개암-쓸개염 등이 있으나 암이나 염증은 쓸개돌에 합병증으로 발생되는 것이다. |

| absence | Paroxysmal attacks of impaired consciousness, occasionally accompanied by spasm or twitching of cephalic muscles, which usually can be brought on by hyperventilation; depending on the type and severity of the absence, the EEG may show an abrupt onset of a 3/sec spike and wave pattern as in simple absence, or in atypical cases, a 4/sec spike and wave or faster spike complexes. Absence seizures usually begin in otherwise neurologically normal children and rarely appear for the first time in adults.
