| 설명 | 난소에 존재하는 난포가 성숙하여 터지면서 난자를 배출하는 과정을 배란이라 한다. 이러한 배란은 앞으로 들어올 정자에 대한 수정준비과정으로 남자의 정자가 접근하여 난자와의 만남을 쉽게 한다. 배란이 일어난 후 난포는 황체로 변하게 되며, 이후 황체에서 황체호르몬이 분비되어 수정되지 않은 상태에서는 월경이 일어난다. |

| 설명 | 사춘기가 되어 난소가 뇌하수체전엽으로부터의 생식샘자극호르몬의 작용을 받아 원시난포가 발육하고 성숙난포가 된다. 결국에는 난포벽이 파열되어 과립막세포로 둘러싸인 난자가 복강내로 배출된다(배란). 배란 후 24~96시간으로 과립막세포가 비대증식해서 황체를 형성한다. 수정되지 않은 경우 월경황체는 약 10일간 존속하고 퇴행변성해서 백체가 된다. 황체가 퇴행변성하면 다음의 난포가 성숙한다. 난소에서는 이 주기가 반복되고 있다. |

| 설명 | 피부를 날카로운 바늘로 긁어 피부의 반응을 보는 검사로 피부 과민반응이나 알레르기를 알아보기 위한 검사이다. 바늘끝에 항원을 묻힌 뒤, 피부밑을 긁어 반응을 알아본다. 이때 항원이 아닌 대조물질(예를 들어 보통의 물)을 묻힌 바늘을 같이 반응하여 피부묘기증(dermographism) 단지 바늘의 긁힘만으로 알레르기 같은 반응을 일으키는 현상과 감별해야 한다. 난청, 청력소실(hearing loss) 청각이 저하 또는 상실된 상태. 원인과 정도는 여러 가지인데, 난청은 그 정도가 가장 심한 상태이다. 청각의 전도경로에 장애가 있을 때 난청이 일어나고, 그 병터가 외이도나 중이에 있는 것을 전음난청, 내이에 있는 것을 감음 난청이라 하여 구분한다. 또 병터의 자리를 명시하여 중이성 난청이나 미로성 난청 등으로 세분하기도 한다. |
