a genus of Fungi Imperfecti of the form-class Hyphomycetes, form-family Dematiaceae, closely related to Bipolaris and Exserohilum. D. bisepta´ta has been isolated from a human brain abscess. The perfect (sexual) stage of Drechslera species is in genus Cochliobolus.
