| 영문 | thorax | 한글 | 가슴 |
|---|---|---|---|

||
| 영문 | ligaments | 한글 | 인대 |
|---|---|---|---|
||
| 영문 | dislocation | 한글 | 탈구 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 설명 | 관절을 구성하는 뼈마디-연골-인대 등의 조직이 정상적인 생리적 위치관계에서 지속적으로 이동하여 정상범위를 벗어난 이상상태를 말한다. |
||

| acromioclavicular sprain | <orthopaedics> A shoulder injury where the ligaments which stabilise the articulation of the acromion process and the clavicle become torn (sprain). A classic lump deformity is noted on the top contour of the shoulder in more serious sprains. Acromioclavicular separations occur most often after a direct fall onto the shoulder. Severe sprains may result in acromioclavicular dislocation. (15 Jan 1998) |
|---|---|
| sprain | A tearing injury to ligaments. Sprains can be minor, with only a slight stress to the ligament or may be severe with total separation of a ligament that supports a joint. Sprain (knee joint): Any injury to one of six different ligaments which stabilise the knee joint. Those ligaments include: medial and lateral collaterals, medial and lateral meniscus and the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments. Knee sprains are characterised by knee pain, swelling and tenderness with range of motion. Severe sprains may result in a knee joint effusion (blood inside the joint). Completely torn ligaments may require surgical repair to reestablish knee joint stability. (27 Sep 1997) |
| sprain fracture | An avulsion fracture in which a small portion of adjacent bone has been pulled or pushed off. (05 Mar 2000) |

| muscles of thorax | The muscles attaching to the rib cage including the pectoral muscles, serratus anterior, subclavius, levator muscles, intercostal muscles, transverse thoracic muscle, subcostal muscles, and diaphragm. Synonym: musculi thoracis. (05 Mar 2000) |
| semispinal muscle of thorax | <anatomy, muscle> Origin, transverse processes of fifth to eleventh thoracic vertebrae; insertion, spinous processes of first four thoracic and fifth and seventh cervical vertebrae; action, extends vertebral column; nerve supply, dorsal primary rami of cervical and thoracic spinal nerves. Synonym: musculus semispinalis thoracis, musculus semispinalis dorsi, semispinal muscle of thorax. (05 Mar 2000) |
| spinal muscle of thorax | <anatomy, muscle> Origin, spinous processes of upper lumbar and two lower thoracic vertebrae; insertion, spinous processes of middle and upper thoracic vertebrae; action, supports and extends vertebral column; nerve supply, dorsal primary rami of thoracic and upper lumbar. Synonym: musculus spinalis thoracis, musculus spinalis dorsi, spinal muscle of thorax. (05 Mar 2000) |
| thorax | 1. <anatomy> The part of the trunk between the neck and the abdomen, containing that part of the body cavity the walls of which are supported by the dorsal vertebrae, the ribs, and the sternum, and which the heart and lungs are situated; the chest. In mammals the thoracic cavity is completely separated from the abdominal by the diaphragm, but in birds and many reptiles the separation is incomplete, while in other reptiles, and in amphibians and fishes, there is no marked separation and no true thorax. 2. <zoology> The middle region of the body of an insect, or that region which bears the legs and wings. It is composed of three united somites, each of which is composed of several distinct parts.The second, or middle, region of the body of a crustacean, arachnid, or other articulate animal. In the case of decapod Crustacea, some writers include under the term thorax only the three segments bearing the maxillipeds; others include also the five segments bearing the legs. 3. A breastplate, cuirass, or corselet; especially, the breastplate worn by the ancient Greeks. Origin: L, fr. Gr. Source: Websters Dictionary (01 Mar 1998) |
| transverse muscle of thorax | <anatomy, muscle> Origin, dorsal surface of xiphoid cartilage and lower portion of dorsal surface of body of sternum; insertion, second to sixth costal cartilages; action, contributes to depression of ribs, narrowing chest; nerve supply, intercostal. Synonym: musculus transversus thoracis, musculus triangularis sterni, sternocostalis muscle, transverse muscle of thorax. (05 Mar 2000) |
| acromioclavicular dislocation | <orthopaedics> Disruption of the normal articulation between the acromion process and the clavicle. The acromioclavicular joint (AC joint) is normally stabilised by several ligaments that can be torn in the process of dislocating the AC joint). See: acromioclavicular sprain. (27 Sep 1997) |
| patellar dislocation | <radiology> most common in young girls, (genu valgum, patella alta, quad mm deficiency more in girls), lateral dislocation, spontaneous reduction, recurrent dislocation, fracture associated in 5-10% (12 Dec 1998) |
| perilunar dislocation | Dislocation of carpal bones around the lunate, which remains in relation to the radius; distinguish from dislocation of lunate, Kienbock's dislocation. (05 Mar 2000) |
| perilunate dislocation | <radiology> Lunate remains aligned with radius, capitate dislocates (usually posteriorly), more common than lunate dislocation (radial-lunate ligaments stronger than lunate-capitate ligaments), associated with scaphoid fractures (75%) = transscaphoid perilunate dislocation (12 Dec 1998) |
| chopart fracture-dislocation | <radiology> A fracture-dislocation occuring through the hindfoot-midfoot joint (i.e., tarsonavicular and calcaneocuboid joints) (12 Dec 1998) |
| closed dislocation | A dislocation not complicated by an external wound. Synonym: simple dislocation. (05 Mar 2000) |
