| 설명 | 위턱과 아래턱의 이틀돌기 내에 위치하는 단단한 석회화된 구조로서 음식물을 씹는데 사용됨. 사람에게는 생후 2년반에 나오는 모두 20개가 되는 유 나오는 모두 20개가 되는 젖니와 젖니가 빠진 후 나오는 모두 32개가 되는 영구치의 두 종류의 치아가 존재한다. 치아는 모양에 따라 앞니(incisor), 송곳니(canine), 어금니(molar)의 세 종류가 있다. |

| 설명 | 코 안과 가운데 귀를 연결하는 관. 귀는 크게 바깥귀, 가운데귀, 속귀의 3부분으로 나누는데 바깥귀라고 하는 것은 소리를 고막까지 전달하는 바깥귓길 부분을 말한다. 그리고 가운데귀란 고막에서 속귀 사이의 공간으로, 여기에는 소리를 느끼는 달팽이까지 고막의 진동을 전달해 주는 작은 뼈인 3개의 귓속뼈가 있다. 속귀란 소리를 직접 느끼는 기관인 달팽이, 평형감각을 담당하는 반고리관, 구형낭(saccule), 타원낭(utricle)이 있는 곳을 말한다. 이 기관의 기능은 가운데귀와 외계의 압력 차이를 없애주는 역할을 한다. 그러나 중이염(중이에 염증이 생기는 것)의 통로로 이용될 수가 있다. |
