영문 solid tumor 한글 고형종양
설명   
  세포로 꽉 찬 종양을 말함. 백혈병 등의 혈액암과 같이 형태를 취하지 않고 액체인 상태의 암과 대조되는 용어로서 단단한 덩어리로 구성된 악성종양이다. 대부분의 종양이 이에 해당한다. 특히 표피조직에서 기원한 종양을 말한다.
