| 설명 | 회충이 기행하여 일으키는 병. 복통, 설사, 두통, 어지러움 따위를 일으키며, 입이나 항문으로 회충이 나오기도 한다. 회충(Ascaris lumbrioides) 애벌레의 체내 이행, 창자내 성충의 기계적 작용 또는 성충의 장기 내 침입으로 인하여 발생한다. 애벌레가 들어간 간, 지라, 림프절에서 국소괴사와 육아종변화가 출현하며 비특이염증반응으로 림프구, 형질세포 및 호산구의 침윤이 있다. 천공 주위에 급성 화농성삼출액에서는 성충과 충란이 관찰된다. |

| ascariasis infection | <microbiology> Infection by the nematode Ascaris lumbricoides and is characterised by an early pulmonary phase related to larval migration and a later, prolonged intestinal phase. Adult worms are 15-40 cm in length and maintain themselves in the lumen of the small intestine.
