| 설명 | 인체의 장기나, 병적인 모양, 종양의 위치, 림프절의 비대 등에 대한 진단을 내리기 위해 시행하는 방사선학적인 검사방법이다. 현재 많이 쓰이고 있는 컴퓨터단층촬영술(CT: computerized tomography)과는 다른 방법으로 시행하며, 그 해상도가 컴퓨터단층촬영보다는 뛰어나 비록 고가이긴 하지만, 많이 쓰이고 있다. 또한 인체에 무해하고, 여러 가지 면에서 사람을 단층으로 분리시켜 볼 수 있는 등 장점이 많다. 단점은 심장박동기를 설치한 사람이나, 주위에 장을 띠는 물체를 몸에 지니고 있는 중환자 등에서는 이용할 수 없고, 복부장기에 대한 진단에는 컴퓨터단층촬영보다 불리한 것으로 되어 있으며, 무엇보다 설치비와 그 시술비가 비싸다는데 가장 큰 단점이 있다. |

| 설명 | 각종 영상진단법을 이용한 질병의 진단 및 치료를 이용한 질병의 진단 및 치료를 담당하는 학문이다. 현대의학에서 질병의 진단은 크게 3가지 방법으로 구분한다. 즉 문진-시진-촉진-타진-청진 등의 전통적 방법과 근래에 발전된 검사실 진단, 영상진단이 있다. 이중에서 영상진단은 인체 내부장기와 질병의 상태를 눈으로 직접 볼 수 있으므로, 질병의 진단에 있어서 가장 중요한 진단방법으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 또한 진단방사선과학은 이와 같은 질병의 진단뿐만 아니라 수술 또는 내과적 치료를 대신할 수 있는 치료방법을 개발하여 현재 치료의 한 분야도 담당하고 있다. 진단방사선과학은 취급하는 영상진단방법이 다중재적 방사선 분야, 핵의학 분야, 영상진단 분야 등으로 분류된다. 또한 영상진단분야도 인체의 중요한 장기별로 일반 방사선진단-신경계-심혈관계-소화기 방사선진단 등으로 세분화되고 있다. 현재 실용화된 초음파 진단-전산화 단층 촬영술-자기 공명 영상술 등은 컴퓨터와 전자공학의 발전이 의학에 적용된 영상진단분야이다. 진단방사선과학은 질환의 행태학적인 진단이 보다 정밀화됨으로써 생체조직에 대한 전자현미경적 검사와도 연관될 수 있게 될 것이다. 또한 영상진단의 수준을 형태학적 검사에서 한걸음 나아가 생리적-생화학적 현상의 영상화를 실현하고 이를 형태학적 진단과 접목시킴으로써 인체내부의 모든 상태를 천리안으로 투시하는 수준에 곧 도달하게 될 것으로 예상되고 있다. |

| 설명 | 세포내의 세포질 소기관. 골지장치라고도 한다. 1898년 이탈리아의 C. 골지에 의해 올빼미의 신경세포체에서 발견되었으며, 이후 다른 세포에서, 또 근래에는 식물세포에서도 발견되고 있다. 전자 현미경에 의한 연구에서 골지체에 해당되는 부분은 층상구조-꽈리구조-알갱이 구조의 세가지로 되어 있으며, 이것을 골지역이라 한다. 그 작용은 명확하지는 않으나 샘세포의 소포체에서 합성된 분비물이 골지역에서 농축되어 분비과립이 되고, 그 과립의 외측에 막이 형성된다고 생각되고 있다. 골지체는 막구조를 주로 하기 때문에 인지질과 단백질을 많이 가지며 알칼리성 포스파타아제-비타민 C-카로틴 등을 함유한다. |

| 설명 | 음식-운동-정신감동 등 체온에 영향을 줄 만한 여러 조건을 피하여 몸과 마음이 안정되었을 때 잰 체온, 보통 아침에 눈을 뜬 직후에 재며, 여성의 경우 월경 주기에 따라 달라지므로 수태 조절이나 자궁, 난소의 병 진단에 응용한다. 6~8시간의 안정된 수면을 취한 후 아침 일찍 깨어나, 잠자리에서 나오기 전에 체온계를 입에 물어서 측정한다. 미묘한 체온의 차이를 측정하는 것이므로 여성체온계를 사용하는 것이 좋다. 이 여성체온계의 수은구부를 혀의 아랫면에 끼우고서 입을 가볍게 다물고 약 5분 동안 있다가 측정하면 된다. 정상적인 기초체온은 복잡한 성주기의 변화를 보이기 때문에 월경주기에 관한 각종 진단을 비롯하여 임신-유산-이상임신의 진단과 수태조절 등에 응용하는 등 여러 가지 효과적인 자료가 된다. |
