The harvesting, cryopreserving and reinfusion of the patient's own bone marrow. May be used in post treatment marrow hypoplasia following cancer therapy. Bone marrow containing undesired cells can be purged of those cells after the marrow has been removed; then the treated bone marrow is returned to the patient.
