a rare benign odontogenic neoplasm of the jaw, particularly the mandible, believed to arise from the epithelial elements of the enamel organ. It is slow growing but potentially invasive and is characterized histologically by sheets of polyhedral epithelial cells with occasional Liesegang rings. Called also Pindborg t.
