2-methylacetoacetyl-CoA thiolase <enzyme> An enzyme that is part of the l-isoleucine degradation pathway; it catalyses the conversion of 2-methylacetoacetyl-CoA (CH3COCH(CH3)COSCoA) to acetyl-CoA and propionyl-CoA.
