Asperger's Syndrome is a complex brain dysfunction related to Autism. It is not a mild form of Autism. It is a disabling condition which may marginalize sufferers. Individuals with this syndrome usually have normal intelligence but have extremely poor social and communication skills. There is approximately a 45% overlap between Dyslexia and Asperger's Syndrome.

Asperger's Syndrome is on the autistic continuum but unlike autistic disorder, there are no significant delays in language, cognition, or self-help skills. Communications are generally one-sided; patients proclaim rather than interact.

This distinctive species is a common soil fungus with widespread distribution in soils in warmer climates. It also is quite widely distributed in some kinds of foods, especially cereals. This species is not considered common to indoor environments, however; it has been frequently associated with the brewing industry. This fungus should be considered allergenic. No toxic or invasive diseases have been documented to date.
