Characteristics include coarse facies, upper respiratory congestion and infections, profound mental retardation, hepatosplenomegaly, cataracts, radiographic signs of dysostosis multiplex, and kyphosis. Mannosidosis is divided into type I (infantile onset) and type II (juvenile-adult onset).
