| embryoma of the kidney | <oncology, tumour> Wilm's tumour or nephroblastoma, is a cancerous tumour of the kidney in children. The exact cause is unknown, but probably develops in foetal tissue due to an underlying genetic factor. Like retinoblastoma, both sporadic and inherited forms occur.
