| methodism |
Informal discriptor for a Non-Conformist and Congregationalist movement which started in the 18th. Century, and received that name due to it's emphasis on Pietism and a highly structured devotional life. Now almost exclusively Wesleyan Arminian, it originally also had a Calvinist branch. ( Reportedly a remnant of modern Calvinistic Methodists survives in Wales. )
