blastocyst transfer In blastocyst transfer, infertile women are implanted with embryos that have matured for five days (to the blastocyst stage). By using these more developed embryos, we are able to identify those that are most likely to result in a successful pregnancy. Initial studies published by Dr. David Gardner of the Colorado Center showed that a blastocyst transfer increased the implantation rate per embryo from 21% to 46%.
