  • Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 5 - »õâ A serine-threonine kinase that plays important roles in CELL DIFFERENTIATION; CELL MIGRATION; and CELL DEATH of NERVE CELLS. It is closely related to other CYCLIN-DEPENDENT KINASES but does not seem to participate in CELL CYCLE regulation.
Synonyms : Cdc2-Related Kinase PSSALRE, Cdk5 Protein, Neuronal Cdc2-Like Protein Kinase, PSSALRE Protein, Cdc2 Related Kinase PSSALRE, Cyclin Dependent Kinase 5, Neuronal Cdc2 Like Protein Kinase, PSSALRE, Cdc2-Related Kinase, Protein Kinase, Cdk5
  • Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 6 - »õâ Cyclin-dependent kinase 6 associates with CYCLIN D and phosphorylates RETINOBLASTOMA PROTEIN during G1 PHASE of the CELL CYCLE. It helps regulate the transition to S PHASE and its kinase activity is inhibited by CYCLIN-DEPENDENT KINASE INHIBITOR P18.
Synonyms : CDK6 Protein, PLSTIRE Protein, Cyclin Dependent Kinase 6, Protein Kinase, Cdk6
  • Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 9 - »õâ A multifunctional CDC2 kinase-related kinase that plays roles in transcriptional elongation, CELL DIFFERENTIATION and APOPTOSIS. It is a component of POSITIVE TRANSCRIPTIONAL ELONGATION FACTOR B.
Synonyms : CDK9 Kinase, Cdc2-related Kinase PITALRE, PITALRE Kinase, Cdc2 related Kinase PITALRE, Cyclin Dependent Kinase 9, Kinase PITALRE, Cdc2-related, PITALRE, Cdc2-related Kinase
  • Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor p15 - »õâ An INK4 cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor containing four ANKYRIN-LIKE REPEATS. INK4B is often inactivated by deletions, mutations, or hypermethylation in HEMATOLOGIC NEOPLASMS.
    Synonyms : CDKN2B Protein, Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 2B, INK4B Protein, INK4b Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor, p15 CDK4 Inhibitor, p15INK4B Protein, CDK4 Inhibitor, p15, Cyclin Dependent Kinase Inhibitor 2B, Cyclin Dependent Kinase Inhibitor p15
  • Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor p16 - »õâ A product of the p16 tumor suppressor gene (GENES, P16). It is also called INK4 or INK4A because it is the prototype member of the INK4 CYCLIN-DEPENDENT KINASE INHIBITORS. This protein is produced from the alpha mRNA transcript of the p16 gene. The other gene product, produced from the alternatively spliced beta transcript, is TUMOR SUPPRESSOR PROTEIN P14ARF. Both p16 gene products have tumor suppressor functions.
    Synonyms : CDKN2 Protein, CDKN2A Protein, Cdk4-Associated Protein p16, Cyclin-Dependent Kinase Inhibitor-2A, INK4A Protein, MTS1 Protein, Multiple Tumor Suppressor-1, p16(INK4A), p16INK4 Protein, p16INK4A Protein, Cdk4 Associated Protein p16, Multiple Tumor Suppressor 1
