synchronous is a telecom term that refers to data transmissions that are controlled by a master clock - controlling constant time between successive bits in the data stream. Performance Technologies offers many products that interact with synchronous data including the CPC340H. This product provides four high performance synchronous/serial channels for WAN connectivity.
