Enzyme Linked ImmunoSorbant Assay (ELISA) -- antigens solubilised in an appropriate buffer can be coated on a plastic surface directly or via an antibody. The analyte is detected by binding an antibody-enzyme conjugate to the immobilized analyte. A substrate that changes color when acted on by the enzyme is used to quantify the amount of bound antibody-enzyme conjugate.
