ABC A method of costing in which activities are the primary cost drivers. By totaling costs in cost pools and then allocating from the cost pools to products and services via cost drivers, product and services are identified for their profitability. It is the most accurate way of allocating costs, but it will never lead to profit maximization as it causes incorrect decisions.
