A type that consists of calcified dental tissue exhibiting complete differentiation, resulting in the formation of enamel and dentin that bear resemblance to normal tooth structures, is known as compound composite odontoma; a type in which calcified dental tissue presents a disorganized mass bearing no similarity to normal tooth structure is known as complex composite odontoma.
