Symptoms include recurrent abdominal pains (may be relieved by antacids), nausea, vomiting, weight loss and fatigue. Complications include GI bleeding, obstruction, perforation and ulcer penetration into surrounding tissues. Treatment includes the avoidance of alcohol, smoking, aspirin, anti-inflammatories and caffeine.
