Click here to view image■Atrioventricular junctional escape beat (arrow) following a pause created by a nonconducted premature atrial complex (distorting the third T wave). The premature atrial complex is not conducted because it is very early; a pause results, which is terminated by the escape beat. The sinus P wave immediately preceding the escape beat is too close to have been conducted.
