a vesicular and bullous eruption, which may be preceded by pruritus and burning sensation, having a tendency to recur each summer during childhood on sun-exposed areas of the skin; the lesions dry up with the formation of brown adherent crusts, and each lesion is surrounded by an erythematous zone, giving the appearance of a vaccination vesicle.
