varnish A transparent solution mixed with ink or printed over ink to produce a glossy surface finish. Vellum Paper Used mainly for certificates. The paper is tough and strong and has a good quality appearance. Virgin Fibre Paper or board pulp fibre which is being used for the first time and not recycled fibre.
