A series of exercises for opening, closing and operating the meetings and Encampments of the Order. These exercises have been handed down from the Grand Army of the Republic based upon the ritualistic work of its meetings and are optional at all levels within the Order. They are described in the publication Rituals and Ceremonials which is available from the National Quartermaster and are made an attachment to the Regulations of the Order.
